In their day to day lives, the young Tibetan school children are called 'barbaric' and 'backward' by their teachers. Chine measures the success of its education policy in Tibet by its effectiveness in 'liberating' Tibetan children from their culture and accept their enslavement as the status qua.
It is desirable by the Chinese not to have any future for the bright young Tibetan who knows Tibetan culture and religion. It is not at all that Tibetans, who are educated in Tibetan culture and religion, could not give enough contribution towards their society's need, nor are they short of knowledge about contributing to their religion and culture.
Tibetan culture and religion is invaluable and an outstanding religion respected by many and studied by many at present. Somewhat the predominant government policy given to the Tibetan language as a secondary language for Tibetan is just a 'cover up' and it is a prime aim of China to destroy the identity of Tibet and it's culture. Is that nice to stop learning Tibetan spoken and written language?
