On the other hand and under the influence of different political propaganda, China undermines and denies the Tibetan people their basic human rights.
The principles enshrined in the UNO declaration of human rights have underlined civilisation for its origins. Buddhism has always valued human life and respected the rights of all people. To mutually respect each other is at the core of human happiness. China has and continues to violate human rights as it attacks Tibetans and their culture by 'striking relentless blows'.
Most Tibetans have no concept of their rights to be citizens of the world and hence have accepted the status qua. There is no tolerance of any discussions on the topic of human rights due to the fear of the consequences suffered by those who have done so in the past. In reality many Tibetans have no concept of their rights to be respected and be treated with dignity. In fact, many have still not heard of the very term 'the human right'. I am both a witness and a victim of this grim reality
