A cornerstone in the Chinese strategy to destroy Tibetan culture is to use 'patriotic' education as a tool of obedience and indoctrination.
With the closure of the monasteries, some 80% of Tibetans are now illiterate. If I compare this situation with the free world, I am full of sadness and frustration for the bad fortune that Tibet has had to endure in these troubled times.
Chine has brought nothing but suffering to the roof of the world.
As I mentioned above almost 80% of Tibetans, in Tibet, are illiterate. With the loss of a Tibetan education, the very survival of the Tibetan culture is in jeopardy. Chinese set up Chinese language is main language and Tibetan language is secondary, there is no school were one can study the Tibetan language. They even introduce Chinese study in different monasteries in different ways.
